It was so nice out so Whitney hopped in the trailer, we packed lots of snacks and she got nice and "comfy" for a long bike ride. We were gone for a couple hours and it was a little chilly on the ride home so she bundled up and had a restful ride back.
We found this big work site that kids were playing on so we stopped to run around and check it out.
There are tons of these bike paths around the area so we just rode all over through these open fields trying to take mental notes hoping not to get lost. It was the perfect weather.
We pulled over into this field and Whitney got to run around for a while. It was so cute, she just ran around in the grass giggling so loud I could hear her from the road. She is trying to wave but the sun is right in her eyes :)

Aiden had a birthday party to go to at this indoor playground place. These things are all over Germany. But, this one had a ropes course the boys decided to try and ended with lots of tears when they got stuck half way through. We all had a good laugh about it later.
Jeremy's photography skills- Kayla wondering where everyone is
Sunday we took a day trip to Cologne, Germany, a two hour drive from Huttenfeld. Here is Amy and Whitney on the main shopping street.
The cathedral was HUGE and so amazing inside. There were pictures of this area after the war and everything was bombed and destroyed except for this cathedral.
We stopped for a lunch at a cute little cafe before heading back home. Such a fun first mini trip!
On Thursday I leave for Madrid and then Friday-Sunday in Porto, Portugal, back to Madrid and home to Germany on Monday. I'm praying for good weather!
Hope everyone has a nice Valentine's Day, I'll post pics of mine on next weeks blog.
Happy Valentine's Day! Glad everything arrived safely! Looks like another action packed week.
